Like many…I’ve learned to Deal instead of Heal. And I realize more now than ever that it is extremely important to be as real with yourself as possible.

We tend to see things for how we want to see them instead of what they really are. Maybe it’s an unconscious coping mechanism or some type of internal defense strategy…but it won’t help you.

There’s definitely a shift happening and for me it’s like an awakening. It’s very uncomfortable and scary but I know it’s necessary.

i.e… “It’s like I don’t even know who you are!”…when in fact I didn’t know them…for who they really were.
