It was impossible not to be impressed by the Lockheed Constellation brought to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 by the Lewis Air Legends museum in San Antonio, Texas. It had been on the field at AirVenture 2023; however, at that time it was basically a huge, fantastically detailed, empty flying tube because the interior had yet to be installed. In 2025, it was showing off its new interior, which definitely continued the massive amount of detailing begun by its exterior. Just one day after an incredible week at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, devastating tornadoes impacted nearby communities, leaving many homes and businesses damaged or destroyed. EAA donated all excess food, water, personal hygiene items, and other essential supplies from the Red One Markets, Volunteer Kitchen, Chapters, and A&W, to support local relief efforts. Working with the Oshkosh Food Pantry and Winnebago Emergency Government, more than 18,000 pounds of much-needed supplies were delivered to help those affected. Together, we continue to support our neighbors when they need it most. ❤️

Speaker Series returns to the EAA Aviation Museum on August 20 when we welcome Jim Cunningham, Mike Butler, and Jim Casper. These gentlemen are part of the team responsible for building a re-creation of a local Oshkosh aircraft that had one of the most successful careers in air racing history — Steve Wittman’s Buster. Cunningham, Butler, and Casper will talk about the history and process of this project, and why Buster is an air racer name to remember! 📰 USAF Maj. Sam ‘RaZZ’ Larson Returned to AirVenture, This Time as a Thunderbird Pilot! While standing next to his F-16, RaZZ took the time to talk to a steady stream of attendees, sign his autograph, and take pictures. 📰 #ICYMI: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is expanding and enhancing its youth education offerings during the annual fly-in convention. ✈️ Discovery Park is a modern youth engagement area with age-appropriate programming, as well as the convenience for families to remain within the central AirVenture grounds.
