Meet “Shaun the Sheep” sea slug, a tiny, glowing marine creature found in Abu Dhabi’s waters. Although small in size, it plays an important role in our marine ecosystem and depends on clean, healthy seas to survive.

هيئة البيئة - أبوظبي توقع اتفاقية لمدة عامين مع شركة "طاقة"، تكون بموجبها الراعي الرسمي لبرنامج الشراكة في مبادرة القرم-أبوظبي. الاتفاقية تهدف إلى تعزيز حماية موائل القرم ورصد التنوع البيولوجي، ما يعكس تضافر الجهود لتحقيق أثر بيئي مستدام في أبوظبي.

.@EADTweets has signed a two-year agreement with @TAQAGroup as Official Partner of the Abu Dhabi Mangrove Initiative partnership programme to enhance the protection of mangrove habitats and biodiversity monitoring, while achieving a sustainable environmental impact in Abu Dhabi.

تحت مظلة مبادرة القرم – أبوظبي، وبالتعاون مع المجموعة المتخصصة بأشجار القرم التابعة للاتحاد الدولي لحفظ الطبيعة، هيئة البيئة – أبوظبي تطلق دليلاً لرصد النظم البيئية لأشجار القرم في منطقة الخليج العربي. الدليل يقدم أساليب عملية قائمة على أسس علمية لدعم جهود الحفاظ على أشجار القرم.

Under the framework of the Abu Dhabi Mangrove Initiative and in collaboration with @IUCN’s Mangrove Specialist Group, @EADTweets has developed the GCC Mangrove Ecosystem Monitoring Toolkit, providing practical, scientific methods to advance mangrove conservation.
