Choosing a GM over HOF players was a legendary fumble. If the Knicks win a championship while the Nets are flailing, Nets will never be relevant again in NY until they get a generational talent.

What has our game come too! I remember when we use to just play basketball and took what the defense gave us and just enjoyed getting the bucket. The beauty and choreography was unreal. Now a coach is saying they are up 2-1 analytically although actually down 3-0. 🤷🏾

Ppl gotta realize that being a fan is different when you a kid vs as an adult. Kids root for players and whoever has the most hype(unless they have a parent or older sibling influencing them)
The Knicks were the only team in the city and there was a lot of hype around them when Melo and J Lin were there. When I was 12 I was rooting for them too. But when we got a team in Brooklyn, that intrigued me (being from Brooklyn) so I wanted to root them too.
I was still more of a Kyrie and Bron fan than a Knicks or Nets fan at the time tho.
It wasn’t until I was like 19 or 20 when I decided aight, I want to be more of a team fan than just a player fan. And that’s when I planted my seeds as a Nets and Spurs fan for good.
And I have no plans of switching up

These were my Knicks back in 2012-2013 days I was team NYC at point of time ! When I was like 13-14 yrs old ! but they didn’t win nothing so whatever we move but yeah !
