After 4 years as Handling Editor at NI and only 6 months as Edior-in-Chief at NI:R, I now resign together with the entire editorship of both journals in protest against unethically high APCs. I am looking forward to serving as Senior Editor at @ImagingNeurosci in the future.

I am surprised there is not more mention of administrative creep. Workload would be more manageable without personally doing all admin for 15 people on 5 different badly designed online platforms

Not having childcare is the biggest obstacle in this PhD program. My stipend alone isn’t enough to cover even a portion of costs 😭 PhD parents— how tf do you do it?! @Momademia

@carlyziter Canal to Dollard, then St. Jacques and up via Avon and Westminster. I thought it would be nicer than crossing at Bd Ste-Anne (end of Falaise) but maybe it's not. Haven't tried skiing the Falaise yet (was avoiding as I find it smelly during rush hour because of the highway)

@carlyziter I admit it wasn't very efficient, but fun. You have to walk up the hill and over or under the highway at the end which it not fantastic.

yesterday I noticed problems when trying to open Sci-Hub website: at first, I was thinking that is some DDoS attack, but after checking again today, found out that sci-hub.se domain that was resistant for many years has been deactivated :( use sci-hub.ru

Great resource. So much of good writing is in the style, yet we are almost never taught this explicitly. I am grateful to William Klein @NorthwesternU who introduced these writing concepts in his Molecular Neurobiology course that I took as an undergraduate. Changed my life!
