Thanks to everyone who's completed this! Sadly, we don't have a single respondent from Northern Ireland - would be nice to have views of clinicians from across the UK. If you know any NI-based IBD physician/surgeon/CNS, please share. Will close study on 31.7.25

If you are an IBD surgeon, gastroenterologist, nurse specialist or post-CCT fellow, please help Nilofer out. It does really only take 15 mins to answer but does require some thinking about! @OCEaN_Trial

@EBRIC_Study protocol published in @ColorectalDis. The study is already generating really useful insights into why early, or even timely, resection for Crohn's is a challenge & why trials comparing medical therapy & surgery for Crohn's (LIR!C included) have struggled to recruit.

Fruitful PPI meeting this afternoon to design the next phase of the study - discrete choice experiments. Always helpful when your patient panel knows exactly what they want and narrow down your list of attributes from 12 to 5 within 30 seconds! @louisehelenhunt

In other news, second manuscript from the EBRIC study submitted yesterday (clinician perspective on earlier surgery for isolated TI Crohn's). 13 patients interviewed so far. Interesting to see how their views on surgery compare with their clinicians'. Watch this space!
