@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @ZahlHenrik @TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @29tre @RebelLulu @knowerofball05 I’m surprised af this argument is still going.
I haven’t been paying attention, but one of youse oughta be making a hell of a fight out of nothing 😭
English

@8_24Mambalytics @ZahlHenrik @TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @EBaillie7 @29tre @RebelLulu @knowerofball05 Dude you are stupid as fuck
Over 7k people have engaged this thread. That's low daily engagement for me & a month of engagement for you.
There have been over 50 people in this & 2 other threads where I presented analytics showing why Kobe isn't a top 15 player .

@brucekw33 @NBA2KMyTEAM I got heaaaaps yesterday without spending a dime.
They’re giving away a free PD Blake Griffin & Opal MJ which was literally a 5 game grind 🤷♂️
There’s a Dark Matter card they give away if you win 20 full lineup games…
It’s all in the exchange.
Not to mention the 2 Grants in Dom
English

@NBA2KMyTEAM Yet we can’t get SHIT without spending money
English

@JoeKnowsYT got a build for you that might be perfect for @BlackMarket2k
6’8, 7’2ws Lockdown w 99 Dunk & 80 three

English

@29tre @RebelLulu @GeecheePrince @TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 @ZahlHenrik So yeah. Like I said, 2.
Spurs were way better than any other team he had faced up to that point and unfortunately showed it.
I’m not beating LeBron because he lost. I’m just merely pointing out that it was a bad series
English

@JoeKnowsYT
Just created an End Game Scottie Pippen build if you want to pinch it/tweak it
Might be perfect for @BlackMarket2k
99 Dunk, 96 Per D, 90 Vert, 85 Steal, 84 Block, 85/80 Shooting, 85 Pass Acc…

English

@RebelLulu @GeecheePrince @TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 @ZahlHenrik @29tre 1. He burnt out - having not been used to playoff intensity for such long duration
2. The Spurs were wayyyyy better than any eastern conference team he faced - so weak conference
3. He choked
Me personally? I believe option 2.
English

@RebelLulu @GeecheePrince @TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 @ZahlHenrik @29tre It’s absolutely impressive that he got there, but that doesn’t mean I can’t call it a bad FINALS performance.
35 & 20 shooting splits are far from good… and the fact he made it to the finals and then did this means 1 of 3 things
(I’ll reply to this with answer)

English

@merkcitygod 5x MVP, 6x FMVP, 6x rings, 10 scoring titles, 9x All Defence teams
English

4x MVP, 4x FMVP, 4x rings, 21x All NBA
Compare him to what people exactly?
$tu. 💎 | Diamond Mag@_OgStu
I can admit LeBron is a All time great , even with all the things I’ve said . It’s the “greatest” stuff that gets me. Now i have to compare you to ppl i believe who are in that conversation.
English

@GeecheePrince @TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 @RebelLulu @ZahlHenrik @29tre I mean, technically LeBron has at least 2 if we include 07… and yes, I understand the surrounding players’ perspective… but that doesn’t void the fact the Spurs locked him up as much as it promos the fact it would’ve been a difficult series for any superstar
English

@TheCaseForkobe1 @HeWasOnTop @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 @RebelLulu @ZahlHenrik @29tre @EBaillie7 Kobe had 4 bad finals out of 7 trips.
1 good Final as the 1st option
LeBron has one bad Final.
Can we rejoin reality?

English

@yawaysoldier @PONTA6565 MJ without Pippen: 4 full seasons
His first 2, and last 2 NBA seasons (broken foot in 86 had him ruled out after just 17 games)
LeBron didn’t even make playoffs his first 2 seasons. And he’s literally got Luka for potentially his last 2…
English

MJ’s case (Chicago Bulls era)
• He basically spent his prime with one team (Chicago Bulls) and a roster that was built over many years.
• His main co-star was only Scottie Pippen — a prime all-around All-Star and elite defender.
• During his second three-peat, he added Dennis Rodman (a rebounding monster), but it was still not a modern-style “Big 3” superteam. It was a well-balanced team with clearly defined roles.
• Other players like Horace Grant, Toni Kukoc, and Steve Kerr were excellent role players, but he never had multiple superstars at the same time.
• The team was built through the draft and internal development, not by aggressively acquiring big-name stars from outside to create a superteam.
LeBron’s case
• He made multiple team changes and actively recruited stars.
• During his Miami Heat years: He formed a Big 3 himself with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh (The Decision).
• Upon returning to Cleveland: He added Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love to create another Big 3.
• With the Lakers: He teamed up with Anthony Davis and surrounded himself with more star players.
• As a result, he played with far more All-Star / Hall of Fame-level teammates throughout his career than MJ.
The decisive difference
• MJ: He consistently won 6 championships with basically “himself + one elite co-star + strong supporting cast.” The core of the team remained stable.
• LeBron: He changed teams himself and actively gathered multiple elite players at the same time to chase titles. He was heavily involved in building superteams.

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @ZahlHenrik @HeWasOnTop @knowerofball05 @RebelLulu @29tre @TheCaseForkobe1 Well honestly, there’s no definitive proof that a team is tanking in the first place, was just a generalisation.
But I’d estimate that every time there’s a stacked draft class like 96, 04, etc… there’d be at least a few teams that tank their numbers
English

@EBaillie7 @8_24Mambalytics @ZahlHenrik @HeWasOnTop @knowerofball05 @RebelLulu @29tre @TheCaseForkobe1 Question before I answer: do you think the ranking for Wemby & this class is the wprst in NBA history?
If not, when do you think it happened more?
English

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @ZahlHenrik @HeWasOnTop @knowerofball05 @RebelLulu @29tre @TheCaseForkobe1 Question - wouldn’t tanking teams affect this?
English

@8_24Mambalytics @ZahlHenrik @HeWasOnTop @knowerofball05 @RebelLulu @29tre @TheCaseForkobe1 @EBaillie7 SOL formulas:
LEAGUE SEASON METRICS
- Diversity of Champions/Playoff Teams
- Victories/Season: Counts number of ≥ .500 teams vs ≤ .405 teams, shows quality league depth. A low number of the first and/or a high number of the latter shows a weak league i.e. 90-91 to 01-02
English

@WITNESSKJ @BarryOnHere From what I could find, LeBron never had 4 in a row…
MJ had 7 in a row, and 10 in 11 games…

English

LeBron since turning 36 years old:
✅ 31 TRIPLE-DOUBLES
Michael Jordan in his entire career:
❌ 30 TRIPLE-DOUBLES

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 I’m always keen to learn, and I’m always open ears. I have no other reason to converse on this platform than to add knowledge to my repertoire.
It’s been interesting
English

@EBaillie7 @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 He is also aware that regular season & the entire playoffs that Kobe or Jordan aren't top 25 in the regular season nor top 10 in the playoffs.
He narrowed it to 2 minutes originally because it was the only scenario he beats Bron.
English

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 How does taking 0 shots affect someone’s shooting percentage?
No wonder your numbers look out of line
English

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 Ok, then this whole argument has come from a really weird wording of it…
It’s not putting literal zeros into any stat as much as; it affects his possessional, per minute and per game statistics

English

@EBaillie7 @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 Next, the metric being measured is clutch scoring per game. It's not clutch scoring FG%.
And because I've run into a bunch of fools. Every NBA measurement from clutch shooting is a a per stat that includes games where no shots are taken.

English

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 The reason I’m saying this is to demonstrate that I do know the statistics, I just didn’t have the word count I needed to mansplain them because I figured you’d be ok with a quick summary, but apparently not. Anyway, I’m eager to learn why and how you add a 0fga game to a stat?
English

@GeecheePrince @8_24Mambalytics @knowerofball05 Points Per 48 is essentially PPG adjusted to show the players average throughout a 48 minute window, so “48 the same” was literally just meant to reference in as little words as possible that it’s similar to PPG.
I don’t like PP48 because it never considers stamina and fatigue
