This will probably go down as one of my favorite ECAC tournaments I have covered in almost 15 years. Princeton, man, what a story they are. Ben Syer, hell of a coach. Excited to see the trajectory they will have going forward.

Dartmouth's first ECAC tournament championship is the first-ever conference tournament 🏆 for the Big Green. Dartmouth defeated Harvard in a one-off playoff game March 14, 1949 for the Pentagonal League title. But that wasn't a tournament but a one-game tiebreaker.

A true #ECACHockey icon back on the ice. 🏒 It was an honor to have former Commissioner Steve Hagwell join us this weekend for the ceremonial puck drop between Dartmouth and Princeton. Serving as Commissioner from 2005 to 2023, Steve was the driving force behind many of the league’s most historic milestones, including bringing the championship home to Lake Placid. 🏔️ Thank you, Steve, for everything you’ve done for our league. 💙
