We had BLAST in our Captain Awesome Man storytime today. Awesome books, fun songs, free books, and then ZOOM to a superhero craft. And for our middle school readers, we have copies of The Cloak Society to check out. @q_michaelchabon @jeremykraa88517 @ArtsOdessa

We want our 8-12 year old patrons to tell us what programs they would like to see the library host for them. We have a physical form in the Children's department to fill out and the QR code sends you to a simple form to fill out. We look forward to hearing your ideas

A Rover's Story by #JasmineWarga made the Texas Bluebonnet and the #LoneStarList #yartxlafrom the Texas Library Association. We have 3 books ready to check out for those that want to follow Resilience as he explores Mars and begins to develop human like feelings.

Our Literary Pumpkin Contest has come to an end. Here are all the pumpkins we received. The winners will be announced after they have been called.

We had a magical time in the Harry Potter Escape Room. I think we just might have to do it again. Check out our participants! Some got to go see the Quidditch game. Some got stuck inside because of Peeves the Poltergeist.

We had Books and Babies today. It seems the ball pit was the place to be. Our next storytime and play date is 10/12/2023. We hope to see you there.

Registration for the Harry Potter Escape Room is closed, guys! So many people signed up. If we get enough people that still want to try to escape Professor Babbling's office, we will make a waitlist and try to work the room into a future schedule. We're so excited!

Summer is ending, kids are back in school, and library staff is back and ready to go! Here is everything we have in September. Are you as excited as we are?

We had fun with Park Ranger Arlyne who works for the #texasstateparks. She taught us all about bats. We hope to have her visit us again.
