I’d like to wish my good friend Leon Harper all the best in his future endeavours and thank him for his distinguished service at the FIB. I trust that the Bureau will remain steadfast in its commitment to the rule of law under the guidance and leadership of Acting Dir. Lawson.

Her contributions have left an indelible mark on the Justice Department — She’s a role model to many. On behalf of the entire Justice Department I wish to send our most heartfelt sympathies to the Lawson family at this terrible time. May the light of Justice always prevail.

I’m truly shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic deaths of Zante Lawson & her daughter Amelia. Zante was a close friend and colleague of mine and her loss is a hard one to come to terms with. She will forever be remembered for her distinguished service to this nation.
