A Level physics teachers - if you finish all of year 1 content by mid June, what do you do after then? Move straight onto A2 topics, if so which would you start with? :) This is for AQA, thank you!

@EDO_teach I teach practical skills needed for A2, logs, exponential la etc and then circular motion. I have a SLOP book for practical skills if that would be useful?

@EDO_teach "Year 1 content"? - depends if you are suggesting you have finished all of paper 1 content for the full A level or just the AS content --- paper 1 A level has all of circular and SHM so do this if you haven't yet. I also teach most of Gravitational Fields

Sorry for the terrible quality. A physics question, can anyone please explain to a non-specialist why the p.d would be 10v? I don’t understand what happens to the 12v on the other side 🤔 (please don’t think I’m completely stupid, I might be missing something obvious!)

@EDO_teach In electronics, this sort of problem is done by either mesh current or nodal voltage analysis, (see electronics-tutorials.ws/dccircuits/dcp…), which I feel is a much more intuitive technique to "pure" Kirchhoff. I wish both were in A level Physics!
