EDSS students in Cohort A or B should use the following as a guide for studies at home. Students are reminded that depending on the subject and course a teacher may have synchronous, live, meetings scheduled during school hours that students would be expected to attend in person.

Preparations for the grade 12 Euclid Math contest continue today at lunch in room 31. In addition to being a fun problem-solving contest, this contest is used by the University of Waterloo for admission and scholarship purposes.

Calling all Matheletes! The last chance to register for math contests this year is upon us! Students wishing to register for the Fryer, Galois, Hypatia,and Euclid math contests or the CTMC intramural math contest need to do so THIS WEEK. Don’t delay, register on School-Day TODAY!

Attention all Lancers interested in Track and Field this year. There will be a brief meeting at the beginning of lunch today in Lab 32. No experience is required to be on the track team and groups of friends are welcome to join. See you in Lab 32 at lunch.

The boys will now head to Windsor the week after March break to compete at the OFSAA Championships. Great job gentlemen, your coaches are proud of all the hard work you have put in.

KCI battled back and tied it late in the third period 2-2. With time winding down Ty “Big goal” scores the game winner sealing the victory for your Lancers. Simon was unbelievable in net making multiple huge saves.

The finals were a rematch of the WCSSAA finals where the boys saw a tough KCI team. Lucas opened the scoring in the first period followed by another goal by Kyle to put the boys up 2-0

Day 1 the boys won both games winning by scores of 9-4 and 8-2. The second day Elmira played St Mary’s in the semi finals and won 4-3 to move onto the finals.

To be read with the Wed am announcements: A big congratulations goes out to the boys hockey team on winning the CWOSSA championship yesterday in Fergus. The boys went undefeated over the two day tournament en route to their second consecutive CWOSSA title.

Any boys interested in playing Boys Soccer this spring should come out to the small gym today after school ready to play. That's Boys Soccer today after school in the small gym.

No experience is required and friend groups are welcome. Please swing by guidance to see Mr. Buckley in order to sign up for the Track and Field google classroom.

Looking to jump higher, run faster and become stronger? The Elmira Track and Field team is having sign ups today and will be meeting as a group tomorrow at lunch.

Any female interested in being a part of this year’s Soccer program is reminded to join us in the Big Gym tomorrow at lunch. Be sure to get your name on the sign up list on the Athletic Board so you stay informed.
