#MedSecurance at @HIMSS 2025: Advancing Cybersecurity in European Healthcare This year’s HIMSS Europe 2025 in Paris brought together the brightest minds and most forward-looking innovations in digital health, and the MedSecurance project was proud to be among them. As an EU-funded initiative focused on strengthening cybersecurity and resilience across healthcare systems, MedSecurance made a strong impression through active participation, knowledge exchange, and meaningful engagement with stakeholders from across the health, research, and tech sectors. The @unibirmingham (UoB) is a global top 100 university with a reputation for high-quality fundamental and translational research fuelling solutions to contemporary problems. Within the School of Engineering, University of Birmingham, the Digital Health and Medical Imaging group (DHMI), led by Prof. @TheoArvanitis, is working on multiple EU Horizon projects. As part of this commitment, DHMI is actively contributing to the MedSecurance project, bringing its expertise in digital health, AI in healthcare, healthcare data security, and IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) device security. An important contribution from DHMI to the MedSecurance project is the development of a Threat Modelling Companion Component, which supports the Threat Vulnerability Risk Analysis (TVRA) tool.
