We’re in Vienna! 🇦🇹 Nicola Cowland and Soumitra Böse are representing EGFR+ UK this week at the first-ever #LungCancer Europe Conference, joining over 140 advocates, clinicians, researchers and policymakers from across Europe. We’re halfway through and it has been a lot - in the best possible way. Exceptional speakers, so much knowledge and information to take back home, and a community that reminds you exactly why this work is so vital. #LCSM

The first ever Lung Cancer Europe Conference is underway in Vienna. This morning President Debra Montague delivered her Annual Report to members from across Europe. “We are in the most exciting period #lungcancer has ever seen. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Great news for people newly diagnosed with advanced EGFR+ #lungcancer in Scotland. Osimertinib (Tagrisso) + chemotherapy has been approved by the SMC for NHS Scotland as a 1l treatment based on the FLAURA2 trial, which showed nearly 10 extra months survival vs Osimertinib alone. EGFR+ UK were pleased to be able to contribute patient evidence in the SMC assessment process. #LCSM
