@itskyleconner My TM3LR is 4 years old in March, 25k miles. I’ve been looking at 3 year old Taycan ST/CS .. do I hold for this (I’d only buy used) / buy a nearly new Highland while I wait or just steam in with a pre-facelift Taycan? I’ll be watching those tests ! I’ll use it for road tripping
@IoniqLisa I'm hanging off until the facelift is released in a few months to see what that brings and how much of it (PCM updates) trickles down to the "old" car. Rumoured battery capacity and efficiency improvements might impact used values.
@humphbecket I've exported 1.62kw this month, 4.62 system, 14 sun power 350's, 5 years old. You can't really extrapolate your numbers over every house in the country.
11 days into Jan (today’s data isn’t included) and I have exported the equivalent of the average daily consumption of 4 homes in the UK. By the end of the month that will be enough electricity to run 1 home for 12 days off grid. Now multiple that by the number of homes in England
Just spotted that decision-makers at @angleseycircuit - in a move about as enlightened as a ladder - have banned electric and hybrid cars from the circuit. Well that’s their future revenues, including virtually all media and PR work, gone, then!
You were looking at a two week rental deal for a four wheeled vehicle in The Netherlands this August?
Don't wait a day longer, book now!
The e-Niro can be yours for two weeks at less than €300,-
Or would you rather JAG it out?
Can be yours at no more than €446,-
Enjoy the ride!
@TheLadySolar Yes the differences at Sixt country per country are amazing: in Spain they have TAYCAN waiting for you yet in Germany no way... And there you have the actual autobahn.
I don't understand but I guess it's just ran conservatively in many places. Luckily not in NL nor Spain.

@bitcoin1zation@RoamingNorway@kushpatel I travel between Essex and Liguria twice a year in an EV, takes the same time as my 520d did. I'm just not poisoning people along the way and giving revenue to countries with atrocious human rights records. But that's enough about America
@RoamingNorway@kushpatel That's dumb, I travel between Texas and Florida very often, it's 1k miles. If I had to go back home to refill my car I couldn't go further than 100 miles from home. 🤦♂️
The new Supercharger dispensers are worse for Tesla drivers:
1. The cables are heavier
2. The cables are less flexible and make it difficult to bend the cable and place the plug where you want it
3. The grip of the holster makes the plug fall onto the ground and gets snow/dirt exposure
4. They’re much taller and opaque, and blocks visibility at the site
All while having no power supply improvements.

Osprey Charging Limited’s plans for electric charging points in Stamford near A1 turned down by South Kesteven District Council: “It will be a magnet for anti-social behaviour with people driving in and doing things they shouldn’t be.”

Long distance travel in my Tesla is incredible.
I just punch in the destination. It plans out all the stops in nice places.
Cheaper than gas. Amazing sound system. And FSD does all the driving for me.
It’s the best road trip experience in the world. Few understand this.
@wholemars I agree apart from the FSD, which to be fair I don’t have, but AP is so poor I’m not paying for FSD. Route planning, cheap reliable charging, efficiency, bingo. Easy peasy 😀
