In honor of teacher appreciation week, this week's spotlight goes out to 2 Ss who shadowed elem. school teachers at Frenchtown and Hanaford! Amy found her passion in speech pathology/reading specialist, while Emily learned the importance of patience as a Kindergarten teacher. 👩‍🏫

VERY PROUD of the seniors that presented and completed their senior projects yesterday! In a year full of challenges, each of you found a way to get the most out of some awesome experiences. I was too busy to take many pictures, but I'll be following up with spotlights this week!

Senior Project Spotlight #2: Josh Land! Josh completed an exceptional internship with the PrepareRI program this year working with a team on a COVID-19 Innovation Challenge. Be sure to catch him (and the rest of the seniors)in Avenger Theater's Retrospective Show tonight and Sat!

Sr. Will Jackson!! Will spent countless hours working under the new skill pathway refurbishing the inside of an old VW van. If you see Will driving around town, be sure to wave and give him some kudos. ✌️🚙

First day of virtual senior project presentation s!! Off to a phenomenal start. The judges and I really enjoyed hearing about the experiences of Sabrina N, who worked with the Edesia nonprofit, Lauren M, who shadowed a veterinarian, and Rylie P who learned about art conservation.
