Back tracking to yesterday @ASA_CSSA_SSSA #ACSmtg…as a fan of pyrogenic organic matter, always excellent to hear from @TheaWhitman and team: Fire selectively decreases microbes, yet changes in soil props (eg, pH) have a greater control on broad functions like C mineralization.
