@EJ_The_Lemon Everything the author makes is pure gold. He wrote Pluto! (The netflix show that just came out, manga is good too.) Obviously 20th Century Boys and Monster are his best work, but he also made a sports manga about Girls tennis called "Happy". Then Billy Bat is my favorite manga.

I say this and mean this personally by no exaggeration but Monster (Anime: 2004) is a masterpiece. “10/10” doesn’t do it justice. One of the best pieces of fiction I’ve ever seen.

Minor spoilers: For a show so often remembered for its antagonist (deserved) it’s actually the protagonist that I think is what makes it so special. Tenma and Johan’s dynamic and ending is quite literally one of the most profound things I’ve ever experienced
