Didn't realise at time what an awful decision this was Clear scotland knock on, wales gather, one pass, Rees zammitt tackled 5 yards behind knock on and adv apparent over Rees zammitt then penalised for dropping ball backwards when tackled. Ref says he played while on the floor

@DaiJones1980 @gallagherbren58 Nah, if you watch the ball, in the tackle it is bobbling backwards, then it's moving in the other direction suggesting its been hit. The fact the player is in front of LRZ means that the ball is moving forward.

@thepaulwilliams There's always two questions, is it the right coach and what are the state of the playing resources? You could argue that Scotland have had one of the most exciting back lines in Europe over the last 5 years - conclusion: 10th is not achieving full potential.

Must admit. I thought Townsend had done a good job with Scotland. And he has. But when you see them down at 10th, in the world rankings. It does make you think.

I’m sad about @Scotlandteam 4 of the starting backs and 3 of the forwards didn’t even learn their rugby in Scotland. I fear for our #Rugby roots. I actually fear for the game of rugby. Kick to compete, pods of three, huge huge men, structure structure. Wales struggling. Sad.
