I'm not happy with yesterday's decision on two things:– 1) The MACC itself had previously confirmed that the money was a donation from Arabs. So why did the court refuse to accept the MACC’s own evidence, when this case was brought by the MACC itself against Najib? 2) The witness who claimed that the Saudi donation letter was fake was Jasmine Loo Ai Swan, who used to be a law firm partner of Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah back when he was still a practising lawyer. So why didn’t Justice Collin recuse himself? Najib stands a very good chance on appeal.
