This crew wrapped up a terrific season yesterday at the MHSAA State Finals. In many ways, they have exemplified the mindset of “doing hard things.” We are very proud of them!

Running into state finals weekend

EK distance runners have been working hard this week. A few highlights include: A strong boys 4x8 at Jackson, some great mile-ing from Ava, Alayna, and Evan (and others), Isaac with a big 3200 PR, and Alex Saavedra becoming the 12th EK boy under 5:00 in the mile this season.

Lots of great distance running today! Boys 4x8 victory, lots of season and lifetime bests, and some XC guys running very fast 400s!

Hello Chicagoland. Should be a great day for track and field.

EKXC Holiday Tradition: White Elephant Party

A little snow never got in the way of a good run!

Lots of strong running for this crew at the Michigan Meet of Champions yesterday! Congrats to Isaac Tanis on earning a spot on Team Michigan for next week’s MidEast Meet of Champions in Kettering, Ohio.

EKXC enjoyed a terrific day at the MHSAA State Finals on Saturday. Ava Lawrence ran a strong race to place 39th in a lifetime personal best, and the boys team placed 7th overall. Congratulations to Isaac Tanis and Justin Johnson for earning All-State accolades!
