I am actually tired of seeing post from Christians blindly stand with Israel. I just wonder: why? I’m legitimately confused. I have yet to find a compelling or biblical reason.

@stewartdantec They look like defensive retaliation against Hamas military targets that came with prior warning for civilians to get out of the building. But the Hamas hides behind women and children so they can claim aggrieved status when their human shields die.

There are a lot of people out there who have been lecturing and threatening people like me the past few years about how "words are violence" and now don't seem to believe beheading children and raping women in the street is violence. We see you.

Palestinian people are not Hamas. Jewish people are not Israel. Israel is a state. Hamas is an organization. Please understand this difference. Both Palestinian and Jewish people deserve freedom, self determination and safety. Islamophobia and Antisemitism are unacceptable.

@danielwinvw We know it’s a very common metaphor. It’s still in bad taste at best, and a “this is God’s judgment on you” at worse. And those of us who live here (like I do) don’t give a shit that it’s a metaphor. People are suffering.
