8th graders did a Gallery Walk with their “The Monkey’s Paw” user manuals in order to leave feedback. They were even able to read the extra credit pages created by their peers by creating a page they believed would be worthy of being in the user manual.

8th wrote poems with metaphor dice,but I added another element to help them understand the process writers go through when crafting a poem, especially when it comes to analyzing poetry in MC questions.They had analysis&rationale questions similar to MC questions. #RiseAsOne
