It's been an unbelievable ride. Thank you - from the bottom of our hearts - to anyone who ever watched Elementary... whether it was one episode or many. We say goodbye to Sherlock and Joan, but we rest easy knowing they'll live in our hearts - and hopefully, yours - forever.

We also want to acknowledge our INCREDIBLE crew. Without them, we can't build a murder robot or blow up all of Sherlock's stuff or see a live quagga or put Joan on the edge of a skyscraper or find a murder victim in a woodchipper. Without them, Elementary doesn't happen.

Thank you so much to everyone who watched our series finale last night! Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of the last-ever episode of Elementary.

All of our friends in NY.... I'm hearing that you're getting the finale IN PROGRESS at 10:45. Meaning you missed the first three quarters of the episode. I think that's awful. Very, very sorry.

Cannot thank you all enough for spending the last seven years with us. Elementary -- and all of you -- changed my life. I'll always be grateful.

Blown away by how many friends we're hearing from in other countries... Finland, Japan, Argentina, Mexico, just to name a few... Humbling!

If memory serves, Agent McNally -- aka Tim Guinee -- was with us for six of our seven years. Can you believe I didn't meet him until the finale?

Three years from now, I too will have a very cool scar.

Ravishing Wrenn Schmidt, ladies and gentlemen. We were so happy she came back for the finale.

By the way... I'm sitting here with a group of my closest friends and partners in crime. Not to mention my amazing wife, whose patience is Watson-like. Could not feel luckier.

So... is this the year 2022? Or did the Elementary pilot actually take place in 2009? Deep thoughts.
