It is actually inspired by Alan Wake 2.
As for the wallpapers - there are similar peeling ones in the Oceanview Hotel in the Dark Place in the game.

@ELLSWAKE The lighting feels very intentional and well thought out. It really draws attention to certain areas, plays with different colours and shadows. Also love those details, peeling wallpaper, crooked blinds.
The atmosphere somehow reminds me of Alan Wake - inspirational!

@henningsanden Oh man, I have the same thing! Do you have your MRI as a file? Did you know you can pull a 3D model of your head from it? With some MRI software you can even split bones from tissue - skull, brain & skin as separate meshes! Here’s mine 💀
