Excited to share my latest project “Detective Hideout” Created as a solo project for Dekogon Studios. I was responsible for every aspect of the environment - from initial concept and blockout to prop modeling, texturing, and scene lighting 1/7🧵

@thecarmine3d Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it! It is actually inspired by Alan Wake 2. As for the wallpapers - there are similar peeling ones in the Oceanview Hotel in the Dark Place in the game.

@ELLSWAKE The lighting feels very intentional and well thought out. It really draws attention to certain areas, plays with different colours and shadows. Also love those details, peeling wallpaper, crooked blinds. The atmosphere somehow reminds me of Alan Wake - inspirational!

After that, I baked all the maps in Marmoset and created textures in Substance Painter 7/7

In the end, I had both a raw scan and a Nanite version. I also made a simple low-poly version in Blender (just a simple cylinder) 6/7

@henningsanden Oh man, I have the same thing! Do you have your MRI as a file? Did you know you can pull a 3D model of your head from it? With some MRI software you can even split bones from tissue - skull, brain & skin as separate meshes! Here’s mine 💀

also if somebody wants to see some fucked up mri images:D

I used to get really frequent headaches, which I finally solved earlier this years. If anyone's struggling with the same, this thread might help I used to be highly affected by weather changes. Fatigue, brain fog and headaches. Spring and autumn were hell.
