When the whole world learned about Bucha. About Ukrainians butchered in the streets of Bucha by Russian occupiers. About our people tortured in basements. About those shot on the roads. About adults and children whose bodies were found in graves in Bucha. Everyone saw the horror that Russia and its aggression bring. They saw what Ukraine is really defending itself against.
Today, on the fourth anniversary of Bucha’s liberation from Russian occupiers, we honored the memory of Ukrainians who were killed and tortured there. We remember and will never forget what the enemy did. Every Russian murderer, executioner, and terrorist must be held accountable for every crime against our people.
Blessed be the memory of everyone whose lives were taken by Russia – to all who were killed in Bucha and across Ukraine at the hands of Russian occupiers.

🚨BREAKING: A Native American family in Utah is speaking out after what they say was a complete breakdown of the system inside their own home.
They claim an officer showed up with a woman who legally was not supposed to be near the property due to protective orders and instead of verifying anything he allegedly ignored the paperwork crumpled it and forced his way inside.
No warrant. No permission. Just escalation.

In 2013, a 3-year-old boy fell down a 49ft well in Romania. Firefighters spent 11 hours trying to get him out but couldn’t. They said it was too narrow and he couldn’t be rescued.
Then a 14-year-old seventh grader, who had just gotten home from school, volunteered to go down. They tied ropes around his waist, lowered him into the well, and he came back up with the little boy.

"God gave me strength, I couldn't let them folks die"
16 yr old Corion Evans was hanging out with his friends when he saw a car PLUNGE into the Pascagoula River in Mississippi.
3 teenage girls began screaming for help as the car quickly sank.
Evans immediately sprang into action, diving in to rescue the girls.
When asked where his bravery came from, he replied "God gave me strength, I couldn't let them folks die."
Police Officer Gary Mercer assisted Evans with the rescue, but he began to drown as well when one of the panicking victims tried to pull him under.
Despite being out of breath with exhausted legs, Evans swam back AGAIN to rescue both the Officer and the 3rd teen girl.
Four people are alive today because a young man put the lives of others before his own.
He truly is a hero. 🎖

Thank you, Mr. President and Mrs. Laura Bush for the warm welcome and support.
George W. Bush Presidential Center@TheBushCenter
Today, President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush welcomed Ukrainian First Lady Mrs. Olena @ZelenskaUA to the Bush Center. “We admire your country’s bravery and ingenuity,” said President George W. Bush. “We want the people of Ukraine to know that we continue to stand with America’s ally, Ukraine. You are fighting for freedom, and I believe you will prevail.” Ukraine’s defense against an unprovoked full-scale invasion from Vladimir Putin has now entered its fifth year. Vladimir Putin is responsible for the gravest security crisis on the European continent since World War II. The Bush Institute continues to believe that now is the time to stop him – and to do so, the U.S. must continue its support of Ukraine.

I met with our military experts who have been in Saudi Arabia for over a week now. Guys reported on the team’s first results and shared conclusions at both the operational and broader levels. The main task of our air defense experts in this region is to identify challenges and determine what changes are needed to strengthen the protection of people and lives from Iranian “shaheds” and missiles. I am grateful to the guys for their exceptionally prompt and thorough work. There are concrete steps we can take together with our partners.
Even in such a short time, Ukrainian experts were able to share extensive expertise and demonstrate how we in Ukraine protect our lives and infrastructure. Ukraine's expertise is unique, and recognized as such, and that is why everyone is so interested in our technologies and experience. We are ready to support the protection of those who help us defend our independence. We discussed the key elements needed to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s air defense capabilities. This concerns, above all, approaches to shooting down drones. Ukraine is ready for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. I am proud of our people and the strength of Ukraine.

Ana Navarro: “We could spend all day going through all the times Donald Trump has been a bully, has mocked people with disabilities, has mocked people for their appearance. He mocked a disabled NYT reporter. He mocked Biden for his stutter. He mocked John McCain who had suffered as a prisoner of war. He calls women piggy. He calls women horseface. The amount of times he has used racist tropes. We cannot allow ourselves to get numb to this”

Democrats said not another dime to ICE while the chaos and corruption continues — and we meant that.
Don’t fall for the bait. Republicans did not save the day by finally deciding to do their jobs. Trump could’ve signed the Executive Order to fund TSA on day one of this partial shutdown. Senate Republicans had over 11 opportunities to fund TSA — but instead they chose to bow down to Donald Trump for 41 days.
Now it’s on House Republicans. Time to put your money where your mouth is.

The United States has reached out to us regarding their bases in Middle Eastern countries. We’ve also been approached by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait.
We’re already working with some of them, and our expert teams are already on the ground, assessing the situation and sharing invaluable experience. Because no matter how many Patriots, THAADs, or other air defense systems are in the Middle East, that alone is not enough for fully effective air defense. There are modern interceptors designed to counter heavy drone strikes.
Now, we are discussing future deliveries of certain equipment that Ukraine has. We want Middle Eastern countries to give us the opportunity to strengthen ourselves as well. They have some air defense missiles that we lack. We would like to reach agreements on this.
Funding is the scarcest resource today. Our defense industry is currently operating at half capacity, and we need more financing to produce drones for ourselves. That’s why we are ready to sell to our partners the systems we have in surplus. And we’re not just selling – we’ll provide our expertise as well. Interceptor drones don’t work without our expertise. It’s the system that works.
From an interview with Le Monde (1/5).

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time.
The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more.
But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
