Let's stop pretending the SAVE America Act is about "election integrity." If that were the case, this administration wouldn't be firing members of the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission — the very people who help states run secure and fair elections. It is an attempt to suppress votes. And with the midterms around the corner…the timing speaks for itself.

This self-obsessed president keeps whining about not getting the Nobel Peace Prize, but under his administration: A father was just killed by ICE. Children are still locked away in detention centers. And this war he promised he'd end? It's still going. Spare us the pity party. We deserve better.

Happy 250th, America. As we celebrate, let's honor those who built this country, defended it, and never stopped pushing America to live up to its promise. The fight for freedom isn't over. And the next 250 years will depend on what we do now. We've got work to do.

62 years ago today, the Civil Rights Act was signed into law because people refused to back down. That same energy is needed now.  As voting rights are under attack, we cannot afford to be complacent. We must keep fighting until every voice is heard and every vote counts.

It's been a year since the Big Ugly Bill became law — and the receipts are in. Higher costs for working families. More tax breaks for billionaires. And a whole bunch of lies. Since Trump and Republicans want to treat American lives like a reality TV show... let's roll the tape. It's time we boot Trump out of this villa.

The Supreme Court just reaffirmed what the Constitution has always said: birthright citizenship is a constitutional right. The President took an oath to uphold the Constitution — not rewrite it whenever it doesn't serve him. Newsflash, Donald: We live in a democracy, not a dictatorship.

Well...would you look at that. After all those made-up lies about mail-in ballots, the Supreme Court just rejected this administration's latest attempt to silence voters. Y'all need to stop trying to suppress votes and start trying to earn them.

The Supreme Court's decision to strip Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and limit asylum for hundreds of thousands of families is another devastating attack on our immigrant communities. Let's stop pretending this is about the law. We've seen the pattern. Time and time again, this Trump - influenced Court has handed this administration exactly what it wants. Tearing families apart. Fueling mass deportations. Weaponizing fear. Treating human beings like political props. This is what Trump’s America looks like. And let's be clear: this decision is the result of this administration's racist attacks on immigrants and Haitians — an attempt to distract people from the real issues facing this country. To the more than 1.3 million TPS holders and your families: We see you. We stand with you. You belong here. This fight is far from over.

The same man who campaigned on bringing costs down is refusing to sign a bill that would lower housing costs for millions of Americans – all because he wants Congress to pass his voter suppression bill — the so-called “SAVE America Act” — first. At a time when working families are struggling to make rent, buy a home, and keep up with rising costs, he's focused on making it harder for you to vote. He needs to do his job. People need affordable housing, not political games.

@RepLaMonica showed up for her community. Now she's facing 17 years in prison for doing her job — conducting oversight and holding this administration accountable. Let me be clear: targeting elected officials for doing their jobs is what authoritarians do. LaMonica, I'm with you in this fight.

The Senate finally found its backbone and passed a War Powers Resolution to rein in this out of control president and end his illegal and unconstitutional war with Iran. For more than 100 days, our servicemembers, their families, and the American people have been paying the price for Trump’s reckless actions. Enough is enough. End this war now.

How about starting with the man in the Oval Office who's been spending taxpayer dollars on: - A Ballroom - A Reflecting Pool - A Wrestling Match - Golf Trips But I guess it's hard to go after the man who gave you your job.

As we celebrate the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of those who came before us, we are also reminded that the work is not done. It is on all of us to continue the fight. As Texas' own Opal Lee said, “None of us are free until we are all free.”

It’s been six months since Trump and Republicans let the ACA tax credits expire. Healthcare costs are up, and families are paying more. Meanwhile, this self-serving lunatic is spending millions of your tax dollars on his ballroom, his birthday bash, and his golf trips. But somehow we're supposed to believe he's fighting for working families? Please.

Today marks 14 years of DACA. For more than a decade, Dreamers have contributed to our communities, strengthened our economy, and helped move this country forward. Fourteen years later, they're still being told to wait. Dreamers belong here — and they deserve a pathway to citizenship.
