The only thing more annoying than random SNK hate boner people are SNK die hard fanboys/loyalists/yes-men who can do mental gymnastics to defend ANY (bad) decision. I would argue both can be equally damaging to the games in different ways.

Instead of remaking the ps2 era persona games how about give both persona 2 games some love. Hell give it a modern port.

Man, imagine how nasty a new Darkstalkers game would look in the RE engine. I find that engine not great for colorful games. Fine for RE games but dunno something about it looks off for SF would hate if DS gets the same treatment

and if you don't have those options you are worst off. Still doubt we will see it changed. Sort of the stand out feature the game has outside it being pretty close to the original Garou. Really wanted to like the game but I'm at the point of not playing again unless I'm wowed.

Doubt season 2 will be free but yea MBTL took a bit to get there, still I think the biggest elephant in the room besides balance is ex implementation. Making ex a overturned rekka is extremely boring to watch and play imho. Every character pressure and combo routes is similar

COTW reminds me of MBTL; revival of an old series that had a rough start, but steadily improved over time while adding free content. I don’t know what’s going on at SNK, but I really hope they continue the free DLC with Season 2. It makes the game so much easier to recommend.
