Today, we went to "the Frank" to watch Milwaukee play River Falls. Coach Todd and coach Ryan came along. It was fun to see Kimberly alums Kale and Hudson on the field again. Alex threw to his first live batters since TJ surgery today. He felt great and threw well!!!!

It's baseball season again! Our family went to Franklin Field on Saturday to support the Panthers! Alex is redshirting this year while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. Will is catching up to his big brother!

The final home run call of Bob Uecker’s career? Believe it or not, it was calling a grand slam off the bat of Jackson Chourio. The 90 year old on the call for a slam by the 20 year old. One final gift from the baseball gods. There really is nothing like baseball.

Ueck always talked about the blue-collar spirit that fueled baseball in Milwaukee. My dad is one of those guys. My first Brewer game at County Stadium was in a late 70s T-Bird. What a beauty! I had to learn how to master the push buttons on AM radio to tune in the pregame...

Bob Uecker's voice was the soundtrack for my intro to and love for the great game of baseball and the Milwaukee Brewers. My dad taught me at an early age to cherish Bob's stories and enjoy how much he appreciated the game. I taught my boys the same. Thank you, Ueck. RIP

Last night, KHS Volleyball paid tribute to former setter Aaron Nelson. I had "Nelly" as a student in 5th grade. The team did an incredible job of showing how much he is missed. It was a powerful night that finished with a scrappy victory over Marquette. It was perfect. Thank you.

Alex made his coaching debut last week for Will's summer team. It was fun to watch the brothers in action. Alex called pitches for Will, and he threw a great game. The team played well. They finished 2-1. It was fun to watch!
