I found this interesting image today from the Wall Street Journal depicting age minimums for social media. I thought it was unique as it shows children of different ages being physically restricted from apps. It is a great way to visualize this problem!

@em203rmistry talked about the issues with schooling in their concept map! I noticed “cheating” as a problem that is very common within todays society. The use of the internet can increase the likelihood of cheating in schools

@EM203verac made a concept map about air pollution last week! A problem I picked up on that she highlighted was that of the health effects of air pollution on the human body. There are so many different ways in which the body is affected #EM203problems

The low age minimums for creating social media accounts was the problem @EM203AWinter's concept map addressed. Another problem related to this is how it derives them of social interaction and limits their ability to become emotionally intelligent. #EM203problems

@EM203GurbinderB highlighted determinants of air quality in their concept map. A problem that I noticed was traffic congestion and it’s contribution to air quality. There must be better ways to address this problem to improve air quality! #EM203problems

Enjoying #EM203robin so far! The learning by doing theory that I explored last week has many applications in my own life. This week’s multi-tasking activity was an eye opener that reminded me to turn my devices on do not disturb more often!💡

@em203vla Learning by doing is an interesting approach to learning but I definitely find it’s my preferred learning style!

A great start to EM203! It's great to see that many university institutions utilize the "Learning by Doing" theory through experiential learning. A properly designed experiential learning program highly engages students and helps them develop valuable soft skills. #em203robin

Taking #EM203Robin has opened my eyes to different learning theories and how the modern day uses digital technology so resourcefully. The digital media truly is a new form of literacy!

I just finished week 3 of #EM203Robin and so far I have been loving the course. Reading about different styles of learning and applying it to my own life for this weeks lesson has been super interesting! Can’t wait for the rest of the semester:)
