@EM203AlexWilson Hey Alexander! I also enjoyed learning about connectivism. It’s interesting to see how everyone has different learning styles - for ex: I personally learn best through the cognitivism learning theory, as it involves linking concepts and classifying information.

@Em203Pitt Hi Talia, great quick explanation of constructivism. It's a perspective on learning that I had never thought of prior to reading about it, but it makes sense that everyone has a different approach to learning and building on past knowledge. Great tweet!

My first three weeks in this course have been very engaging. My discussion group was tasked with learning about the theory constructivism which is experienced based learning and building on prior knowledge. An example of it would be group discussion boards! #EM203Robin

@EesaaEm203 Hey Eesaa, great point on how desired actions can be complimented with a reinforcement schedule. I think when people stick to a more strict schedule they have much better chances of accomplishing what they want in a day.

@bezj1910 Hey Quinn, couldn't agree more on the importance of learning in the digital age and it's connection to Covid-19. I think many teachers/professors are struggling to stimulate students to keep things interesting and fresh virtually.

@em203sandra Hey Sandra, I found the cognitivism theory interesting as well! Particularly the applications of it in education by means of reinforcement activities or games (like puzzles). I think it's a major player in helping students retain information.

During the last few weeks, I learned about the different learning theories and applications of each one. For ex: cognitivism focusses on comprehension, abstraction, analysis and problem solving. Applications of cognitivism include linking concepts and analogies. #EM203Robin

@EM203_MichelleK Hey Michelle, I really liked this lesson as well! Mostly because it's how I learn about most things throughout my day. My math course doesn't really stick without the practice problems and learning from any mistakes.

Over the past three weeks of EM203, we have been discussing and reading about the different forms of learning and associated theories. My discussion group was assigned connectivism and I thoroughly enjoyed reading my group's opinions on the topic #EM203Robin
