@EM203Riz Hi Zunaira, great concept map! I think a problem to address in your concept map is healthcare is free in Canada, so because of this it could create long wait times to see a doctor even in emergency circumstances. #EM203problems

@EM203sim25 Hi Simran, amazing concept map! An issue to address with the teacher training portion of your map is that due to limited finances, teachers are not provided with many educational training opportunities. #EM203problems

I’ve really enjoyed the first few weeks of this class! I like the readings and the interactive discussion posts where I can create a stronger understanding of the content through my fellow students different perspectives. I’m looking forward to all future assignments!#em203robin

@EM203JWu5 Hi Jeffrey, I completely agree with what you said about authentic learning. Sometimes in lessons it is hard to see why things are relevant, which is why I also found the authentic learning section very interesting!

In my first weeks in #EM203Robin, we explored various topics on how teaching is evolving in today's society. The lesson on authentic learning stood out, as I've also struggled with finding relevance in what is taught. This will surely enhance my own teaching skills.

@EM203sim25 Hi Simran, different learning theories is a great introduction to the education field! Constructivism was a very interesting topic to learn more in depth about, especially as I feel like this course is able reflecting on our experiences.

A few weeks into this semester, in my class, EM203 I have been able to learn multiple new concepts For instance, looking into different learning theories, more specifically constructivism. I am looking forward to learning more about the education field! #EM203Robin

In my three weeks in #EM203Robin, I have learnt a great deal about various topics like all of the learning theories. Overall, this course has been so interesting and I cannot wait to discuss the contents of the course with my peers and gain more knowledge!

@ChloeEm203 Hi Chloe! I completely agree, the first few weeks of this course have really brought into perspective how different people learn differently! Also, our discussion posts have been beneficial to read as I enjoy learning how others perceive the same texts I read.

#EM203Robin The first three weeks of classtaught me how social media can be used towards learning and not just a "past-time". It also shows how different people learn/percieve things as some people may benefit from reading a text while others may benefit from watching a video

@EM203ellam Hi Ella! I agree, the interactive discussions within this course are critical for strengthening our understanding of the weekly content, and seeing others perspectives is very beneficial as well!

In the past few weeks, I have learned how digital technology is resourceful and provides students with different streams of learning (ie. through videos instead of text). Different people have different learning styles, so having options online is beneficial for all. #EM203Robin
