@EM203Macleod I fully agree that hands on learning should be added in more University classes at Laurier. I consider myself someone who learns best that way as well so it would be super beneficial for me too.

So far, this course has taught me how valuable hands-on experience and learning by doing is to be successful and get ahead! This should be implemented in more university classes at Laurier! It would definitely help me going into my future business career! #EM203Robin

@Em203Kaye I agree I think the hands on learning is crucial depending on the job but also can also be a crucial learning strategy depending on the person and the way that they find is easiest to learn.

So far in EM203, I have learned the importance of using apprenticeship as a method of teaching through different work forces. This method is crucial for ‘Real-life’ teaching therefore the ‘hands-on’ approach is an effective learning strategy. #EM203Robin

@EM203Mitch During my mutli-tasking test I found that my memory while being distracted vs not having any distractions were on par with each other.

@ShaliniChirimu1 I also like the way this course keeps us engaged with the different tasks even while being asynchronous. I for one liked learning how to complete a sudoku game and have continued playing more since the task.

My thoughts about the first 3 classes of the course are positive. This class has a very engaging way to incorporate learning and fun into one syllabus and this helps most, if not all, students to enjoy learning the content. #EM203Robin

@ERosenzwaig I agree with you Eric. EM203 is a pretty relaxed course compared to others I'm taking but it is teaching me a lot about how we learn today and what learning will look like in the future.

EM203 has been a laidback class with lots of genuinely helpful information that can apply to things both in and outside of an academic environment. Definitely interesting to learn about the way people learn and be able to use social media to enhance our own learning. #EM203Robin

In these past few weeks in EM203 I have learned the significance of hands on learning in education. For example having an apprenticeship for a job like plumbing gives a student a better understanding of the requirements of their job.#EM203Robin
