Recent EQAO scores reveal that only "47% of 6th grade students have met the provincial standard" and before that it was only 50%. I want to cover why the Ontario education system may be struggling to teach students the basics.

@EM203MDrozdov This course in a weird way has kind of felt like the 16 personalities quiz. It's been interesting to see, learn, and almost analyze myself and see where I fit within concepts like the different learning styles.

@EM203oliviab I have really enjoyed learning about the different learning approaches as well. I have really enjoyed how this course has also allowed me to almost analyze myself and see where I fit within concepts like the learning styles.

In the past three weeks of EM203, I have gained a better understanding of different learning approaches which are utilized in classrooms as well as analyzed different learning processes in the assigned activities. I look forward to continuing the course content! #EM203Robin

@em203_erinr Great post Erin! I am also looking forward to seeing the other ways that we will be actively engaged in the course.

In the first 3 weeks of EM203 I have learned about the different types of learning styles and how technology can benefit or provide challenges to learning. I look forward to the rest of the semester in this engaging course! #EM203Robin

@EM203sofiap I am also excited to see where else the course goes. Looking a little bit ahead at Module 2 it looks at "what do we learn about in a digital age?" It looks to observe potentially how people consume and learn from digital sources as well as utilize them for learning.

I am really enjoying the interactive elements of the course. Sometimes classes can just feel like endless reading without much engagement and this course feels like I am able to actively participate in my learning. #EM203Robin
