@AliciaFleury5 Problem: As animals die off due to water pollution, how will rehabilitation and recovery take place, if the environment is no longer suitable to them? #EM203problems
@BriannaHaswell Keeping education relevant in each region would be costly, and hampered by teachers refusing to adapt based on personal teaching philosophies. How would a modernization and continued relevance be supplied to schools with less access to new teachers able to adapt?
@EM203RSaraf Taking a look at your mind map, how would we be able to implement shielding or motion sensing lights, especially in areas where light pollution is strongest? The logistical problems of replacing and maintaining these lights would also need to be considered.
@EM203tpatel This course has been great for learning about new forms and perspectives on learning, many of them that weren't even around during our own time in primary and secondary school. Using twitter as a learning platform has been a new and interesting experience as well.
I've had an insightful first 3 weeks!
I found this statistic "one-third of the students worry that they spend too much time online” (Steeves, 2014) to be relatable. Also, realized that Connectivism is a great learning theory to start implementing while studying! #EM203Robin
@EM203CRayn Congrats on the time! It took me a few tries to actually get a time I could be proud of. This class has been great for helping develop new skills and learning methods, and I hope to apply them to more things in the future.
EM203 has taught me about the wonders of learning new skills through the use of technology. This week it pushed me out of my comfort zone to learn the new skill of completing a Sudoku. Hopefully with the use of technology I can speed up my time in the future! #EM203Robin
@sydney_alyssaa You're absolutely right about that. Up until recently I had largely written off social media as a bad source for any information, but EM203 has shown that it can have uses for learning.
over the last 3 weeks of being in EM203, i have used twitter more than i ever have before. i never realized before how much you can learn through a social media app and how you can digitally connect with people. #EM203Robin
@EM203SafaElahi I strongly agree, the different learning styles and their real life applications have been amazing for classes this semester for me, and I suspect will continue to be as we learn more in the class.
The first 3 lessons in EM203 have been great thus far. In particular, learning about various learning theories has been really interesting and I've been able to apply them in real life! #EM203Robin
@Em203MDeol I strongly agree, the different learning theories have helped me figure out the style that fits me best. It also helped with broadening my toolset for learning by showing new methods to incorporate together.
#EM203Robin The first three lessons have been interesting, and made me think about how I approach learning and tutoring in the modern age. Different tasks require different toolkits, and learning about each of them, and the way they all connect to each other, is incredibly fun!
