Hello @snopes, I am student studying critical thinking and misinformation. I am curious, since Snopes is an organization dedicated to fighting misinformation on the internet, what is one tip you have for effectively teaching people to spot misinformation online?

A site that addresses my problem is newslit.org. They are an organization dedicated to providing students with the skills they need to be news literate and identify misinformation/disinformation.

@em203Tmueller Learning about the 3 M's was a very interesting and informative lesson. I personally found the experiment regarding multi-tasking to be beneficial, as I always assumed that I was able to perform tasks at the same level whether or not I was multi-tasking.

In the start of EM-203 we are learning the about the 3 M's, multi-media, multi-modal and multi-tasking. As well as learning about the digital age and connectivism. #EM203Robin

@em203hendrulat Hi Hayley! I totally agree that learning how to use X as a part of EM203 has been a fun and engaging experience. I also like how it gives us a new way to connect with our peers and learn with them on a different level.

So far, I have truly enjoyed the first three classes of Em203. It’s fun learning how to navigate X and follow artists that I admire on this platform. The class has allowed me to expand my knowledge on social media and encourages me to connect with my peers virtually. #EM203Robin

@EM203_Janeet I agree Janeet! Embracing multi-modal learning seems to be an effective way to support active learning for students. Personally, I have always found that a mix of verbal, written, and visual elements in learning have been beneficial to my comprehension.

@em203jrussell Hey Julia! I agree that the last three weeks have been interesting and taught me a lot about education. Teaching and learning with multi-media being beneficial for students was something I also found very informative.

The past 3 weeks of #EM203Robin have been interesting. I learned that the internet has changed how students learn and access materials. I found that learning with multi-media helps to achieve a better understanding, while multi-tasking could be less beneficial.

Within the first few weeks of #EM203Robin, I have already learned plenty about learning theories and processes. Last week, I learned about the constructivist learning theory, which emphasizes that learners construct knowledge through experience and interactions.
