Hello @mysocnet, I am a Wilfrid Laurier University student doing an assignment on the digital divide in education. I was wondering if you could share your expertise with me? More specifically, what are your solutions to the digital divide? Thank you! #EM203

A quote that connects to the problem I identified: "It's not MOOCs that are going to close the gaps in the educational divide in world -- but they have stimulated the world’s greatest institutions to start doing more digitally," @urbangenie #EM203Robin

I grew up in a generation that focused on other social media platforms. Twitter is very exciting and the exploration/study of learners in the digital age is insightful since I am always worried about spending too much time on my phone. #EM203Robin

@EM203AWalker Hey Anna, I’m enjoying EM203 so far as well - looking to be one of my favourite electives here at WLU. I had a hard time with the multi-tasking activity so you’re not alone:)

3 weeks down, 9 to go! I have really enjoyed this course so far. Something that has stuck with me is how terrible I am at multitasking, haha! I am excited for next week to learn about the impact that digital learning has had on the time and place of learning. #EM203Robin

@ConorGr40486955 Hey Conor, although I’ve been in courses that are interactive online, this course is still a first for me. I never really considered how much of an impact technology has had on our learning until now, all thanks to EM203.

EM203 is certainly the first of its kind. This is the first time I have ever learned with my peers in an interactive online forum. It intrigues me how much we depend on the virtual world and how learning theories can be applied to properly navigate it. #EM203Robin

@EM203ATompkins Hey Aaron, I’ve found this course to be interesting as well, and i’m sure it’ll get even better. Out of all the online courses i’ve taken, this is the only one without discussions being graded, and I enjoy doing them because of that.

So far, EM203 with #EM203Robin has been an interesting course as we've learned about the the digital age, the different learning theories, and defining multi-media, multi-modal, and multi-tasking. Posting to the board without being marked has sparked authentic contribution!

@EM203mmuraki I feel the same way Madeline, this course is turning out to be more interesting than I imagined. My favourite lesson in particular was about the learning theories and I’m excited to see what we learn next week.

The first three lessons of EM203 have been very interesting and informative. I have enjoyed learning about the digital age, and the 3M's, particularly multi-tasking. Looking forward to the coming lessons! #EM203Robin

My first three lessons in EM203 were very interesting and i’ve learned a few things, including learning in the digital age, how multiple learning theories work, and the 3 M’s (multi-media,modal,and tasking). #EM203Robin
