Here is a picture of quick statistics gathered that I found quite surprising. I think this illustrates the insufficient awareness of mental health within the education system, resulting in stigma and a lack of support and resources for students' mental well-being:

When you’re stepping out of your comfort zone, trying new things, expanding yourself, fumbling but believing in yourself, notice who’s interested, cheering you on & asking about it VS who’s criticizing you or pulling away. Remember: The people who want you to win are your people.
In my first few lessons of EM203 I have learned that the internet has changed the learning landscape information is now freely available at our fingertips and can be collaboratively constructed by learners of all ages and experience, anytime and anywhere. #EM203Robin
Just wrapped up the first three lessons of #EM203Robin!
Fascinated by constructivism, which emphasizes learning by doing and actively engaging with content. I also explored how digital tech evolves with society and completely transforms the way we learn and teach!
EM203 has been my favorite course so far! These first three classes have been really engaging, and I love the real-life aspect and the different media we use, especially since it's online. Can't wait to see what's next! #EM203Robin
@EM203MKNEZ Hi,
I agree about this course structure! There is plenty of guidance and help for understanding the material. Everyone has been active in the discussions which makes it engaging to learn!
Using discussions to teach the lessons among others in the class is really effective to my learning! It's how I like to learn and I have never seen a course where you teach yourself by understanding questions and talking among other course members. It's all thanks to

@EM203sgibson Hi Sydney,
I am so glad to hear this is one of your favourite courses so far! I would have to agree with you! This course has really changed my perspective on many things such as how we absorb information.
@EM203Paulinders Hello Paulinders!! Digital learning is certainly a very common learning model nowadays. I have been able to relate to this as well by incorporating it into my own study/learning practices.
The first lessons of this course have been easily relatable to my daily life. One thing that I found interesting so far is the multi-modal. Digital learning enhances active learning by leveraging multi-modal environments using visual, spatial, and auditory abilities #EM203Robin
@gloriapulavar Hi Gloria,
Thank you for your post! I find it extremely interesting that theories we learn in class such as cognitivism and connectivism are applied to our daily lives. It is great to hear that these theories stuck out to you these past few weeks!
In the first 3 lessons, I have learned about learning theories such as Cognitivism & Connectivism and how these can impact key skills. These theories form our day to day learning and helps us connect with the emerging digital world that we live in. #EM203Robin
@toor_shaan Hi Shaan,
I also relate that I have first-hand experienced what we have learned in class too! It is fascinating how relatable this content is to our daily lives!
