Hi Professor @rmcleman, I am a former student of yours from ES110. Although Climate Change is such an extensive issue, I wanted to ask for your advice on how to reduce our personal carbon footprints on a daily basis. Issues raised during COP27 made it clear that anything helps!

I hope to see Hansel expand on his comments about how technology impacts today's society! It is important to recognize how reliant we are on our devices for information. Ultimately, we must ask ourselves if we are too dependent on technology in modern times #EM203Robin

I've had a really great time in my EM203 class so far, enriching my understanding of technology and its impact on users, as well as the 3 M's of media. I also found the study of the learning theory Behaviourism to be particularly interesting! #EM203Robin

@EM203Roppen Hi Ryan, thank you for sharing your experiences in the course! I am also intrigued by how technology has become so integrated into our daily lives. I would love to hear your opinion on if people have become over-reliant on technology in recent years.

So far I have really enjoyed the beginning of this term and I've already learnt a lot in EM-203. We've covered interesting perspectives about how technology and social media can be beneficial for different types of learning, and explored the theory of constructivism. #EM203Robin

@MTersigni9 Great to hear, Matthew! I am glad that you've had such an eye-opening experience in the course thus far. I also completed a Sudoku and it was quite a challenge (I hadn't done one in years)! I would love to hear your thoughts on how social media has impacted modern-day society.

Just completed my first ever 16x16 Sudoku. My brain feels numb but I’ve also never felt so smart. EM203 has really opened up my eyes to new perspectives on the world and different accessible media outlets. Looking forward to the rest of the class. #EM203Robin

@EM203HMasur Thank you for sharing, Harrison! I found the learning theories interesting because they relate to many of the topics we studied in Organizational Behaviour. It is great when information overlaps in our courses so that we can deepen our knowledge of topics.

@em203michcest This is great to hear, Michael! I think that learning other languages like German is a great way to challenge yourself and expand your knowledge. Please let me know if you find any other calming activities!

Just learned my first words in German. The national anthem might need to be added to the playlist. I didn't think learning a new language (even through music) would be this enjoyable, the process is actually mentally calming. #EM203Robin

@EM203HANLEW You raise a great point, Hansel. Social media has become a powerful tool for spreading information quickly. I believe that it has its pros (such as self-marketing) and cons (like misinformation). I can't wait to see what else we learn in the coming weeks!
