@_Georgeobeid Hi George! This is jaw dropping information, definitely not something I considered before. Why do you think this is such a common problem?
Hey @foodprintcy ! Your mission to spread awareness about the detrimental effects of food waste is very moving. What are easy and simple ways people can reduce their day-to-day contributions to food waste?
Ethical Choice's article outlining how the detrimental effects of food waste will destroy our planet shares how food waste not only affects climate change, but all aspects of life. #EM203Researchmyethicalchoice.com/en/journal/foo….
@EM203_Bianca Hi Bianca! I agree, I thought that the challenge to try something new was not an activity that would be part of this course, but I really enjoyed the challenge of it.
Hey @EM203ConnorS great mindmap! Perhaps explore health implications that can cause weight gain - ultimately leading to obesity if not treated well. #EM203problems
Hey @Zhuang_Ellie great mindmap! Perhaps consider the amount of people in each household and determine how that impacts household income! #EM203problems
@em203hzakint Hey Hannah! It's amazing that you're learning more about yourself as you go through this course! I also agree that connecting the 3Ms to the digital age was extremely relevant to today's world and how we interact with and on the internet!
Lots of learning in EM203! I specifically learned about how we "learn by doing" which emphasizes how apprenticeship can be a very effective method of teaching. After our learning in the digital age lesson, we dove into the different 3M learning theories! Exciting! #EM203Robin
@daintybadger Hey Brit! Connectivism was truly interesting to read about. I also found an article about how students using past knowledge and current knowledge from a digital source to create their own meanings to concepts!
@EM203JLau Janet! I love that! I truly think we're all living and learning by trial and error everyday. I guess the design process is inspired by our everyday lives!
been loving EM203 so far! found it interesting that even the most brilliant instructors learn on the job by trial and error. maybe we’re all just working and living by trial and error at the end of the day🤔
@EM203MarinG Hi Marin! I totally agree, even though it an online course, the discussions and interactive components of the course make up for the digital nature of learning online!
Onto the third week of class and I can confidently say I'm learning lots from #EM203Robin 's course! Learning from my peers, engaging in discussion, and going through at-home lessons have demonstrated the different ways to learn in an ever-changing digital society.
