My grandfather Dr. GS Kulkarni is 93 years old, he still works, studies and researches and most importantly he exercises for 45 mins to 1 hour everyday.
It is extremely important for our parents and grandparents to be active and perform strength training.
Exercise is important for older adults because it can improve their physical and mental health.
Active people have lower mortality rates compared to inactive people.
People who met the minimum exercise recommendations (150-300 min/week moderate or 75-150 min/week vigorous) saw a significant reduction in mortality rates.

Learning through doing and using social media as a platform to do so has been an exciting experience to say the least these past 3 weeks. This past week I learned how to complete a sudoku puzzle, which was much easier than I thought. #EM203Robin
@EM203ElizabethS I agree the class has been forcing me to expand my knowledge regarding different topics to teaching. Looking forward for what’s to come.
The first three weeks of EM203 have been very enjoyable. I was able to learn how to complete a sudoku puzzle. This class has also expanded my knowledge on different ways to learn, as all of the tasks in the first three weeks have been different. #EM203Robin
@EM203UGulbahari The constructivist theory is a great one. I think it is important to understand when in a classroom setting to better help the students build upon the information.
One of the main lessons from EM203 was the constructivist learning theory. Personally, I find it really fascinating and it opened my eyes to how deep these theories can go. I recommend informing yourself about this theory if you aren't familiar with it already. #EM203Robin
So far in EM203, we have learned a lot about the digital age and I am excited to dive deeper into how multi-media has the ability to enhance engagement and learning! #EM203Robin
The first 3 classes in EM203 have been interesting, different and a new experience with learning. This class is really encouraging me to try new things out of my norm such as using X and creating comics on Pixton, which are both things I would have never done before! #EM203Robin
EM203 has been interesting so far as I have learned how to do new things such as learning how to use X and completing a difficult sudoku. The topics we have touched on have made me think back to my younger days in school and how I learn new information best. #EM203Robin
