Ivan Herrera has allowed 10 SB in 16 starts behind the plate. That’s ~1 extra base every other game. To my completely untrained eye, he seems to be doing every else… fine? Given his bat, that’s pretty valuable behind the plate (in my opinion). Not sure why they would nix it.

The University of Iowa Athletics Department has purchased the official court used in the NCAA Houston Regional Elite Eight. The new playing surface comes as the current Carver-Hawkeye Arena court -- last replaced in 2016 -- had reached a typical point in its lifecycle for replacement.
