@MrPitbull07 Of course it happened!!! Anyone living in the 50’s on up would have a silver milk box on their front or back porch and in the morning the milk truck would deliver your order in glass bottles. The empties would be there to be returned.

My wife says this never happened. Does anyone else remember when milk came in glass bottles and the milkman would deliver it to your doorstep before sunrise? You’d leave the empties out for him to pick up!

My son died. I know he didn't contribute anything to mankind — he was only two months old — but I like to believe he was destined to do something good for humanity. It's been a while since his death, and I hate to dwell on it so publicly, but I wanted you to know him.

"At about 3:00 this morning I was driving my 1 year old child to the hospital because he was having a hard time breathing. I ended up getting pulled over by 19th and Nebraska St. due to having a tail light and license plate light out. As the deputy was telling me why he pulled me over I explained to him where I was going. He opened up the back door to my vehicle and heard my sons labored breathing and told me to go ahead and get to the hospital. The officer that pulled me over was deputy Kyle Cleveringa. He followed me to the hospital, helped me carry my things into the ER, offered to hold my son while I filled out paper work, gave my son a stuffed toy truck, and was helping to comfort him by talking to him and giving him "hi-fives." My family and I are very thankful for deputy Cleveringa and everything he did for my son and I this morning. He went above and beyond and I cannot thank him enough. Could you please make sure he reads this and is made aware of how grateful we are that he pulled me over and helped me through that terrifying situation? Thank you so much Kyle! ...... P.S. What in the world is wrong with these privileged people today? (appears to be mostly women lately) So simple….when you’re stopped by the police pull over and LISTEN! You will be told why you were stopped. Produce your ID/license/Insurance card and then just act respectful and you will be treated respectfully in return. Even if your issued a ticket you can explain what happened in court.

SIMPLE TRAFFIC STOP… WHY NOT JUST COMPLY? Woman gets pulled over… pulls out her phone instead of following instructions… and now troopers are forced to step in. All of this could’ve been over in minutes. Instead… it escalates fast. This is exactly how situations go left for no reason. Be real - why not just comply and keep it moving? ⬇️ 🇺🇸

My husband really wanted a dog for a long time, finally i said ok, but let's go to the shelter with so many in need. So we drove to out local shelter to only look. I didn't want puppy, I wanted someone who was slightly older. There wasn't many to choose from maybe 8. As i made my way back to look over again, they just brought in the saddest most scared little black and white dog i have seen. He looked at me and i lost all my breath. Just standing in the back of cage next to the wall. I stood guard while my husband went to get someone who worked there so we could meet this little one. When he came into the room he just stood there trembling, all 20 pounds of him. He gave a little lick to each of us but mostly was terrified. They couldn't find his background history but he came from a shelter.
