@Joe__Bassey Why bring AI in this debate!! Senegal won on the pitch and are champion.. the final result submitted by the ref stands.. the appeal is for matters like cards & players ineligibility.. not the result of a game.

@JasCattell @SFCJoeyy_ @L1minus10 Because no serious fouls that warranted a card.. your player stopped a counter by blocking the ball with his hand by purpose but ref just gave a free kick with no card!!

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of 15-year-old Academy player, Amelia Aplin. Amelia collapsed during a Girls’ Academy game against Fulham at the Club’s Training Centre in Horspath yesterday afternoon. The thoughts and sincere condolences from everyone at Oxford United are with Amelia’s family, friends, teammates and coaches. We would like to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of the medical staff at both Oxford United and Fulham Football Club, along with the emergency services. The Club will offer support to Amelia’s family, players, coaches and staff impacted by this tragic event. We would ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.

❤️‍🩹☝🏽 Rodrygo’s letter after his knee injury. “Even without understanding, I trust you… One of the worst days of my life, how much I always feared this injury... maybe life has been a little cruel to me lately... I don't know if I deserve this, but what can I complain about? How many wonderful things have I experienced that I also didn't deserve. A major obstacle has arisen in my life, in my career, preventing me from doing what I love most for a while. I'm out for the rest of the season with my club and out of the World Cup with my country, a dream that everyone knows how much it means to me. All I can do is be strong as always, which is nothing new. Thank you all for your prayers, messages, and affection! You are very important to me. Even though this is a very difficult time, I promise not to stop here. I believe I still have many incredible things to experience and bring joy to everyone who trusts me. It's just a see you soon... God is still in control of everything.”

It is with great sadness that we advise that Full Member and Season Ticket Holder Barry Norwin passed away on February 13th at the age of 76. Barry supported the club for more than 20 years. He began attending matches after being invited by a colleague at Barking College and quickly became a regular at Victoria Road. Professionally, Barry was a lecturer teaching electrical courses. He taught at Barking College before moving on to Havering College, retiring at the age of 63. On matchdays, Barry could be found with his son Carl in his usual seat in the South Stand, Seat 56, Row E. Over the years, he was a familiar presence at home fixtures and remained a committed supporter. Outside of football, Barry enjoyed gardening, walking, and playing bowls at Havering Bowls Club. The club extends its sincere condolences to Barry’s wife Susan, daughter Eleanor, son Carl, his three grandsons, Reece, Callum and Theo, and his many friends.
