The Angel at Corbridge, with their outstanding value 10 quid for a burger and a pint. (The burger was actually good as well). A limited selection of pints at that price, so let's gloss over what I went for, but followed up with a postprandial pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord.

@PubsSaving Was in there today. Nice barman, creamy Guinness. But, sadly, Guinness too cold (why is UK Guinness so cold?) and place had a lot of kids in. Plus side, Bass on draught and 2 other cask ales.

Great to see The Duke of York on Rathbone Street #fitzrovia has reopened after an extensive refurbishment by new owners McMullens. Three ales from McMullens on pumps. I miss the pub carpet. Glad the upstairs has been saved as a bar area & function room. Friendly staff! #newpubs

So, I missed out on a ticket in the DRE for @SUFCOfficial play off final due to not being a season ticket holder & not able to get online early this morning. Not a ST holder due to work commitments but attend most other home games. Anyone have a spare ticket for sale? 🤞

Newman Arms, 23 Rathbone Place. Pub refurbished recently. £4.10 for half of Murphy’s. No cask ale today. Four half pumps, usually one ale on. Green tiling on exterior likely removed around 2015. Truman’s mirror (original?) behind bar in 2019 photos of pub, sadly gone.
