Hopper thinks about his answer. . .Radia did talk about programs with viruses from her past, but as far he knows, he hasn’t seen anyone with yellow light-lines in years. . . ❝. . .I don’t know.❞ He’s a man of few words when it comes to these things.

“ah— that’s a name i recognize very well.”

❝I’m not sure if Users could get hurt,❞ Hopper admits. Honestly, he has no idea if humans were prone to viruses from The Grid. It’s a slow start, but he takes off quickly. ❝Not as many grid-bugs around where we are though.❞

“well, that surely makes things quite a bit easier!”

Using his baton, the object materializes into his Light-Cycle. Hopper carefully places the ISO on his back and hops onto the it. ❝It’s mostly abandoned, save for us.❞

Hopper could expect that Radia would be just as shocked as he was finding an ISO out here. ❝Do you think you could manage out there? There’s no worry of an army, but. . .it’s still dangerous.❞

As his gaze turns to the unconscious ISO, Hopper discards the cuffs. ❝She’s the first of them—the ISOs. Hence why she doesn’t come around much.❞ Hopefully, that doesn’t spell trouble. . . ❝We could take him to Radia. She’ll know what to do.❞

“that’s true. if all else fails i’m sure we can find it some way or another.”

So much for getting arrested. . .again. Hopper inspects the inhibitors and their colors; they flicker a bright yellow before they turn back to the standard blue. ❝Trust me, our new friend would be better off there. Besides, I think he might know my mentor.❞

❝. . .I know someone in the Outlands. A mentor in a way.❞ Hopper flexes his wrists, finding a small keyhole in the cuffs. The key Nova held seemed like a good solution to them. ❝Do you think these’ll work?❞

yes. lead the way, please.

❝They’ve been here ever since The Grid was made, but. . .❞ Maybe he was wrong. Perhaps, the ISO could share the same sentiment with him when he recovers. ❝I assume thats he’s a refugee of the war, too.❞

i have an umbrella. it’s big enough for two. i don’t mind to share if we need to.

❝. . .We shouldn’t stay out here with him.❞ This time, Hopper’s words sounded like advice rather than an order. ❝Where’d you say the station was?❞
