🇨🇾Cyprus holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union until 30 June 2026. As with every Presidency, End FGM EU has shared key proposals to strengthen EU action to eliminate FGM, which affects 600000 women and girls in Europe. Gender based violence must be a priority.
