Great example by @veoliaenvtrust of how #TheLCF is working to fund projects that benefit the wider #environment. During 2022/2023, the scheme has been doing important work to enhance biodiversity, reduce pollution, improve water quality, and preserve both natural and historical assets.

This morning, we released two major publications: "The Value for Money Report 2022-2023" and "The LCF Economic, Community and Environmental Impact Model (ECEIM) Report 2022-23". Drawing from the data provided to Entrust by EBs, these reports offer a clear, detailed, and thoughtful review of the LCF's spending; highlighting the real benefits the fund delivers to local economies, communities, and the environment. Together, they act as a baseline model for evaluation and reflection, enabling stakeholders, including policymakers, EBs, and the broader community, to understand the LCF's effectiveness in meeting its goals and affirming the fund's commitment to transparency and accountability. Last week was a breath of fresh air for our Entrust team as we ventured beyond our office walls to lend a hand at Canalside Community Food—a community supported agriculture scheme for people in Leamington/Warwick area.🌱 We rolled up our sleeves, grabbed our gardening tools, and got to work harvesting carrots and tackling some much-needed weeding. 🥕 Yet, our day was about more than just veggies 🌽. The warm welcome reception we received from Canalside Community Food made us feel right at home. We were able to mingle with fellow community members, share insights and cultivate a sense of togetherness in the great outdoors. 🌿 Our experience at Canalside Community Food demonstrates the power of bringing together individuals from various walks of life.
