2024-25 Erie Prep Post Grad Team

Clearly there's a heartier breed up North... The "Lake Effect" pros from @EPA_Hoops (as in Lake Erie, PA) and @DMEatSJNAmbb (as in Wisconsin) shrugged off this snow-nado that wiped out prep ball yesterday in the rest of the Eastern USA. And turned it into an OT thriller to get everyone heated up. Erie Prep prevailed 91-85 Ps. They were already at the locale on Sunday because they played there on Saturday

Meanwhile PG had a tough game against Andrews Osborne, with their talent pulling them away in the second half PG: L vs AOA 84-52

The penultimate week before Christmas break saw our HS team pick up a much deserved win against a strong SPIRE PG Red squad, before finishing the Kiski Tip Off weekend 1-1 after a narrow lose to Lawrenceville HS HS: W vs SPIRE PG Red 79-73 L vs Lawrenceville 69-72

Meanwhile our Post Grad’s were in Virginia for the Fork Union Classic. They put on a battle against Hargrave, only down 4 at HT before falling behind in the second half. However they bounced back the next day vs Chosen One Academy PG: L vs Hargrave 89-59 W vs Chosen 1 59-74

Both teams battled hard after the Thanksgiving Break, putting up competitive games against tough teams. HS showed fight against Perkiomen Post Grad, before ultimately falling short, HS: L vs Perkiomen PG 74-54

Closing out to the Thanksgiving break were some highly competitive road trips for both teams, with HS heading to Indiana and PG to Rochester. Big December incoming! HS: L vs Bosco Institute 87-77 L vs La Lumiere 90-53 PG: W vs Nazareth JV 62-76 L vs St John Fisher JV 80-76

Week 2 had the competition heating up for our Post Grads as well. A hard earned victory moved us to 2-0 in @OPCBball, before a tough weekend trip to play 2 top teams this year saw them fall to 3-2 W vs Expressions Prep 87-84 OT L vs Perkiomen 72-54 L ve Phelps HS National 110-93

Look out for the @NYCInvitational, brought to you by the @PSACardinals, on Sunday, Dec. 7th at @SpellmanBX in the Baychester section of The Bronx. Some top-tier teams in some of the nation’s finest leagues will be in the building. Teams from the @NYSAIS, @CHSAA_NYC, @AOPathletics, @NEPSAC & @PIAASports will be in the building. There will be several Division I players in the building, as well. Check it out.
