Katie Kudla (class of 2024) presented her research on mapping star formation histories in nearby galaxies at the Big East Research Symposium last weekend in New York. Katie earned an honorable mention at the awards ceremony for her work. Congratulations Katie!

Jeffery Phan (class of 2025) presented his research about Jupiter’s moon Europa at the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Houston TX. Jeffery worked with Professor Noah Hammond last summer on this NASA funded project.

Incredible turnout for our first ever airplane competition. Students and faculty had a blast! Results: 1. Deming Randolph - 70ft4in (the toss came in just at the buzzer - as we were measuring). 2. Julio Valdez - 63ft4in 3. Dylan Mitchell - 62ft1in
